Description:
This is a Type 1 in 46 caliber with a 20 inch barrel. This is an old gun and it looks it although it is in good shape for it’s age. Deep patina on all metal. Saddle ring is present. Bore is relatively good and has some shine to it. A few areas of light to moderate pitting. Good rifling. Breech stays in a lock position until fully cocked; then it becomes unlocked. All parts are there. Hammer spring and trigger spring are very good. Stock is actually in VG condition. Some slight age shrinkage at the buttplate and a chip out on the right side of the forearm. These are a unique firearm.
