1st Generation Colt. 38-40 Engraved, engraver unknown. Very nice engraving, done many years ago. Has nice petina. One piece ivory grips..In my collecting my favorite of 38 40 44 40 because they were the real guns that the Cowboys carry. they could buy a rifle in the same caliber as their pistol. Which made it very convenient
