Description:
This is a very nice and totally original old Colt black powder SAA revolver in .45cal. with a 7 1/2" barrel, nickel finish, and very fine original one piece walnut grips, made in 1884. There is still quite a bit of the original nickel finish still on this gun. (see pics). All serial #'s match, all of the factory markings are very nice and clear, nice screws with the faded nitre blue finish still evident, very good mechanics, and an excellent bore. Extremely nice condition original, to this gun, walnut grips with nearly all of the factory varnish still remaining! (see pics). Previous owner very lightly etched ss# on the bottom of barrel ahead of the cylinder pin, but, does not distract. The gun comes with a beautiful, fully tooled loop holster, in excellent condtion. Hard to find a nice and original condition gun like this for the price! Please ask questions if desired. NO FFL required, unless the state you live in requires one for transfer, NY,NJ, etc..
