<<<<SOLD>>>>Rare to find this WWI era Garate Anitua / Spanish made .455 revolver for the English officers private purchase, with a 5 " barrel super clean rifled bore. Gun locks up tight, and indexes good and chambers the English military round of .455 cal. Finish is in the white, not sure if it was ever blued, no evidence or cleaning, buffing or sanding of finish. Has plain smooth European walnut grips in good condition. There are Birmingham English proofs on each cylinder flue, and on the barrel left side in front of the cylinder. Frame has marked the English rack number of 25X in two places on the left side of the frame. Try to find another one of these rare WWI English officers private purchase revolvers.
