All original and with matching numbers in the 189xxx serial range (1860 production). Backstrap engraved in period script “E.H. NEARING” for Lieutenant Edwin H. Nearing of Company K, 23rd Connecticut Volunteers. Nearing served thru the war and died in 1881. An all original gun with the original patina on the metal and good markings including the cylinder scene. Very good grips with moderate scratches and wear.
