Description:
Good looking, Spanish made Lino Head Snapaunce Percussion belt pistol, with a 6" octagonal barrel with engraving and inlaid address: POR SANTo BETOLAZA, EIBAR 1856. Action works well, and the hammer has a figural lion's head, with chisel engraved detail.The European walnut wood stock is good with no issues, except shallow wear and dents from field use. Overall length is about 11" . Some pitting on the left muzzle side of the barrel. Comes with an iron ram-rod that appears original. The bore measures about .675". A very interesting Southwestern gun most likely went to the southwest or Mexico. a colorful gun with the owners name inscribed on the barrel.
