This Turnbull/Winchester 1886 is chambered in 45-70. It has Beautiful 4X American Walnut. The Buttstock and Forend are Hand Checkered in 22 Lines Per Inch. The Receiver, Buttplate, Hammer, Forend Cap, and Lever are all Bone and Charcoal Color Case Hardened. The Barrell and Magazine tube are Rust Blued. All small parts are Charcoal Blued. It has a 26" full Octagon barrel . I am selling a few guns out of my personal collection aand this is one. It has the beautiful redish period correct winchester wood coloring, and some of the most beautiful figured American Walnut you will see. Has steel semi-buckhorn rear sight and steel/brass bead front sight.This Rifle is also drilled and tapped from the factory for your choice of Tang Sight.
