Description:
This is one of the 3000 Nathan Bedford Forrest Commemorative Scouts made by Colt in 1968. It is unfired and in excellent condition overall, rating 97%. The only deductions are from some paint flaws on the inner grip strap, otherwise this little Scout is like-new. The gold finish on the frame and barrel is beautiful, as-is the high gloss blue on the 6-shot cylinder. It comes complete with the original display case it was shipped in from Colt. The display case shows some handling and storage marks on the exterior but is otherwise solid. The lining has some small stained spots in the lid but nothing that sticks out as an eyesore. All of the display case hardware is in excellent condition. This would be an excellent addition to any Colt collection as a long-term investment.
