Description:
An early production Remington model 700 BDL in the hard to find 25-06 Rem.Built in 1971,this rifle has the early style checkering pattern and factory open sights.The rifle is in excellent all original condition retaining 99% of the original blue finish and 98% of the original wood finish.The 24" barrel has a bore that is mint with sharp well defined rifling.The stock is sound with no cracks or damage. The 25-06 caliber is very scarce in the early model 700s as the caliber had not gained popularity at that time.This is an excellent example and would make a great flat shooting big game rifle.
