Description:
A S&W No. 1 3rd issue .22 cal, with a 3 3/16" round barrel and good bore, strong rifling.The exterior metal is grey, mixed with brown patina, and along the barrel length a little surface roughness and corrosion, but not pitted. The rosewood grips are veery good and have very little wear. Indexes good , but lock-up not tight as the c lock-up comes from the cylinder stop on top of the cylinder and they sometimes get weak and may need tightening, with a shim..SN17,489..Check my inventory of rare grips, unusual gun parts, barrels and holsters. Shipping may be higher than stated as shippers raise their prices twice year without notice! When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
