Description:
This 127 year old '92 Take Down is ready for a new home. Serial Number 28511 is a clean old shooter. Caliber is 32-20 WCF. The octagon barrel has a very fine bore with sharp lands and clean grooves. Certainly not shot up like a lot of old black powder guns of similar vintage. The takedown mechanism works perfectly and even shows wear from plenty of use and disassembly. The buttstock appears to be an upgrade as it does not match the forend wood perfectly. Both in excellent condition. Overall barrel bluing would rate 60 - 65% with most wear on the right side of the barrel. The action bluing is somewhat faded. I would rate the action finish between 50-55%. See pictures.
