An exceptional Rat Tail Migulet pistol, with a total length of about 19+ " with an action thayt works, these oftern pre-date flintlocks as the mainspring is on the outside instead of the inside, and yes it sparks.. Not sure it's afe to shoot, but appears to be a working gun. There brass cast sections have high releif, and the nose ap typically is added last over the barrel. Most of these had no ram-rod but a faux ram-rod for looks as the shooters belt held the powder flask, vent pick, and ram-rod. This was an experienced craftsman,and not a tourist market gun at the train station! The smooth bore measures aboiut .510".Check my inventory of rare grips, unusual gun parts, barrels and holsters.
