Description:
Very early gun, double signed by Vrancken. I brought the gun to a long time collector and his opinion was that it is a one of a kind or the Midas prototype. The gun is different as too the first two birds touch each other; the bird on the bottom of the receiver is a duck not a quail and the initial medallion on the trigger guard is different. Mr Vracken was the head of the engraving department and was in charge of creating the new Midas pattern. Browning records do not show any sales information (letter in photos)
Twenty gauge, twenty six inch barrels, chocked IC/IM. There has been a non Browning pad added and has a length of pull of 13 and 5/8. Condition is 96-97%
