This 1976 production 20 Gauge Browning BSS side by side shotgun is an absolute beauty in spectacular all-original condition. It features 26" inch barrels with a solid rib. choked Improved Cylinder and Modified with perfect, mirror-bright bores. The factory gloss blue finish on the receiver is excellent, rating 98% plus, with only a few tiny handling marks visible under very close inspection. The original gloss finished and checkered Walnut stock set is also in minty condition, free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or major dings/dents. The gloss clear coat is still clear and bright, and the checkered panels on the forearm and pistol grip are crisp and clean. It is very obvious that this Browning has spent the vast majority of it's life in storage and MIGHT have been carried afield a few times at most. The action is still stiff like it left the factory last week rather than 44 years ago, and the controls are all in perfect working order. This Browning weighs in at 6lbs and 10 ounces, and the drop at the comb measures 1.5" inches while the drop at the heel measures 2.5" inches. The length of pull on this double barrel is 14.5" inches to the end of the factory installed recoil pad. All of these measurements are factory, the stock has not been bent, cut, or altered in any way. This BSS comes with an original factory box that shows the same configuration as this gun but has a different serial number on the label. These 20 gauge BSS shotguns are really well-made and classy side by sides and are quite hard to find in such excellent condition. This BSS would make a great addition to any shotgun collection and should prove to be an excellent long-term investment.
