Smith & Wesson Small Frame Volcanic. Serial number 249. Metal has a smooth gray patina. Barrel markings are nice and sharp. Engraving is still very sharp. The right-hand side of the frame has light pitting. Bore is worn. Very scarce early Smith & Wesson Volcanic!
