Description:
Serial #130009, .22 LR, 26" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This “US PROPERTY" marked rifle, has retained 97-98% of an armory applied parkerized finish that has some slight silvering at the muzzle and along the sides of the barrel. The bright bolt still has bright original color case-hardening remaining on the bolt handle. The front sight hood is missing but the original folding aperture rear sight is still present, and the walnut stock has some scattered minor handling marks and small blemishes in the original oil finish. What appears to be a straight line crack on the left side at the wrist is actually just a surface scratch, probably from the over-enthusiastic opening of a shipping or storage box at some point. A single original magazine, with single shot selector lever, is included, and a new commercial leather target sling is fitted. The rifle rates excellent condition, and is a great example of a World War II U.S. trainer. FFL or C&R
