Description:
Serial #BE 36235, 25mm, 5 3/4" flared barrel with an excellent bore. This WW2 era pistol has a zinc alloy frame and barrel (zamak). small military proof stamps are present on the barrel, with the metal having ageneral mottled, dull gray patina. The hammer, trigger, barrel latch, and piston style spring have retained about 90% of the original blued finish with dull gray where the finish has worn. The wooden grips are in very good plus shape with only minor handling marks in the original varnish. The lock-up is tight and the action is fully functional. This is a fine example of No. 1 Mk. IV flare gun, and would make a nice addition to a collection.
