Description:
Serial #383, .38 S&W, 3" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has minor freckling within the grooves. This is a close copy of a Webley Mk. III .38 revolver, complete with partially legible markings, and retains 90-92% of the original blue finish with silvering and minor flaking to the brown underlying metal, mostly along the high and exposed edges. The hammer, trigger, and cylinder retainer are finished armory bright, with a few specks of mild freckling here and there. The checkered horn grips are in good shape with some flattening of the points, and some chips and cracks along the edges. The lock-up is firm, and the action is fully functional. This is a very well-made Webley copy, certainly better than a “Khyber-made" example, and rates fine condition overall. FFL
