In 1932 Ithaca introduced a NID in a 10 gauge Magnum for Winchester’s newly developed 3 1/2-inch shell which contained 2 ounces of lead. The gun had a lug extension through the bottom of the frame for added strength and weighed 10 1/2 pounds. This gun has 32” steel barrels choked full and full with a brass front bead. The LOP is 14 1/4” to a Hawkins pad. DAC: 1 1/2”; DAH: 2 1/2”. Chambers are 3 1/2”. Double triggers, beaver tail forend, extractors, and rare straight stock. Beautiful walnut forend and butt stock with highly figured wood. Checkering is sharp. Frame is engraved with a mallard in flight on the left side, a woodcock on the right side with scrollwork. Original case coloring is 100%. Not a mark on the wood or metal. Gun is in mint condition and does not appear to have ever been fired since it left the factory. Only 900 magnums were made; 164 in Grade 2. The only straight stock Magnum 10 that I have ever encountered. A very scarce gun in all original mint condition.
