If you're into accuracy rifles, you know Bill Wiseman. Bill makes the barrels used by the ammunition companies for load development and testing. He's known as being about the best there is. For a time, Wiseman manufactured his own rifle, called the Texas Safari Rifle. They feature a blueprinted action, proprietary synthetic stock with a deep "Perch Belly" magazine housing, drop-out magazine, and of course his owncustom barrel.
These rifles are quite rare, and most were made in 300 WSM. This one is a 270 WSM, a more useful and easier-shooting caliber, in my opinion. Round count is quite low, as evidenced by the muzzle still being brightly blued. Scope is not included, but Leupold bases an QD 30mm rings stay on the rifle.
