Presented for sale, you will find a Mauser 98K manufactured for the German Army at the Orndorff plant in in 1936. You will see the image of the top of the receiver “S/42” which is the wartime code of this rifle’s origin.
As you can see from the images, this 98K is immaculate. We do not know if it had been re-armored or professionally restored. Nevertheless, this is one the nicest 98Ks we have run across in a long time. Numbers match.
