We have a NID 28 gauge Grade 4 that was made in 1941 . According to Walt Snyders book ' Ithaca Gun Company From the Beginning ' this was the first gun built in 1941 and 1 of only 10 guns produced in a 28 ga grade 4 . The gun features a single selective trigger , ejectors , 26'' barrels , Beavertail forend , LOP is 14 1/8 , to an Ithaca hardplate , DAC 1 3/8 , DAH 2 3/8 , bores are bright and shiny there are no dents , Chokes are Full/MOD .012 - .024 , Bores are .550 , Checkering is sharp with no splits or cracks in the wood .
