Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: The black powder Ruger Old Army was introduced in 1972 and remained in production for 36 years until it was discontinued in 2008.  The Old Army is a single-action .44 caliber cap and ball revolver that was offered in two barrel lengths of 7.5" inches and 5.5" inches.  During it's production run it was offered in both stainless steel and blued steel.  The Old Army proved to be an excellent revolver that is both very well-made and accurate, and as a result became a sought-after model by shooters and collectors aike.  This particular example is a stainless steel model with a 7.5" inch barrel that was made in 1982.  It remains in excellent condition overall and is 100% original and un-altered.  While it has maybe been fired a handful of times, it has been very well-cared for and shows only some very minor handling marks in the stainless steel.  The bore in this Ruger is excellent, mirror-bright with no pitting, erosion, or imperfections visible. The rifling shows perfectly sharp lands and grooves throughout the barrel, and the 6 cylinder bores are equally as clean and free from imperfections.  All six of the original factory nipples are in excellent condition and are not marred or deformed from dry firing in any way.  All of the screws on this gun are in excellent condition and appear to be unturned since leaving the factory.  The original factory smooth American Walnut grips are in excellent condition overall, free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or major dings/damage.  The left grip panel is like-new, while the right panel shows a few tiny handling/storage marks under close inspection.  Both sides are tight to the gun with no wiggle, both sides have intact silver and black Ruger medallions in excellent condition.  The action on this Ruger Old Army is smooth, locks up tight, and is perfectly "in-time".  All of the controls on this cap and ball revolver are in perfect working order, including the factory adjustable rear sight.  We have no doubt that this Ruger will function just as well today as the day it left the factory.  This stainless Ruger Old Army comes complete with it's original factory box, owner's manual, and all the inserts it shipped from the factory with.  The box and paperwork is all in excellent condition.  If you have been looking for one of these neat black powder pistols for your collection that is complete and in excellent condition, this 1982-production model would be a great choice.  As this is a black powder revolver, it can be shipped directly to your home in most States.               SOLD Manufacturer: Ruger Model: Old Army Serial Number: 145-45217 Caliber Info: .44 Cap & Ball Bore: Excellent Condition: Excellent Barrels: 7.5" Inches Finish: Stainless Steel Manufacture Date: 1982 Extras: w/ Original Box, Manuals, Etc.
