Description:
This stainless steel Interarms Virginian Dragoon is a beautiful example in a quite scarce barrel length, 6" inches.  It comes 100% complete with both of the original boxes, owner's manual, and all of the hangtags and brochures it was shipped with.  The Virginian Dragoon was produced by the Interarms company in Alexandria, Virginia between 1973 and 1984, with great care taken to make it as close to the original Colt Single Action Army as possible.  The result was a VERY well-made gun, very robust in construction, reliable, and accurate.  The fit and finish is very good on these guns, and typically the actions are extremely smooth and precise.  Initially offered with a case-colored frame and blued cylinder and barrel, Interarms introduced various calibers, barrel lengths, and finish options throughout the production run.  Today these vintage American-made Virginian Dragoon revolvers are sought-after by shooters and collectors alike, with scarcer barrel lengths and calibers bringing a premium when in excellent condition.  This particular Interarms .44 Magnum revolver features all stainless steel construction, a 6-shot fluted cylinder, a scarce 6" inch barrel, a ramped front sight with a red dot, an adjustable target-style rear sight, a frame mounted firing pin, and smooth American Walnut grips.  It is in excellent condition overall.  While this revolver has been fired, it appears to have been fired a handful of times at most.  The stainless steel shows only a few tiny handling marks visible only under close inspection and no real wear.  There is no evidence of this gun ever having been carried in a holster.  The screw heads are in beautiful un-turned condition, and there is no drag line visible on the cylinder.  All of the factory stampings are crisp and clean.  The bore is mirror bright with perfect rifling throughout, and the six chambers of the cylinder are equally as free from visible imperfections.  The factory original American Walnut grips are in beautiful shape, free from any chips, cracks, repairs, or visible wear.  Both grip panels are nicely fit to the gun and free from any wiggle.  The action on this Virginian Dragoon is very slick and smooth.  The clicks from all three positions are nice and loud, and the action is perfectly "in time" with a solid lock-up.  All of the controls on this gun are in 100% perfect working order, and there is no doubt that this gun will function like it left the factory yesterday rather than 40 plus years ago.  Whether you are a collector or shooter this .44 Magnum Virginian Dragoon would be excellent addition to your collection.  You would be hard pressed to find a cleaner or more complete example of this neat revolver.
