Made in 1995 , Paul Jaeger import, with 25 “ tubes, ejectors and factory claw mounted Schmidt and Bender 1 to 4 x 20 No 4 reticule.
One standing 2 folding rear sight and partridge type silver front sight, excellent bores and chambers, flawless extraction and ejection.
Blacking is 90 % condition with some discoloration, soldering is excellent. Weight is 8 Lbs. without the scope , 9 Lbs. 2 Oz with it.
Great regulation ; I’m getting 2” and tighter groups at 100 Yards right to the right and level with Federal premium Swift A frame 300 gr .
Coin finish action with 60% rose and scroll hand cut engraving , front set trigger, cocking indicator, Greener third fastener. The flame color on the trigger indicates very little use , jointing and bolting are 100 % and is cosmetically and mechanically in 98% original condition.
European walnut stock with pistol grip finished with a horn grip cap, 14 ¼ “ LOP over a .600 Pachmayer pad. Semi beaver tail forend. Wood finish is in 85% with hunting marks, checkering is in 95% original condition.
A clean rifle , shooting better than average, that would be equally efficient in Africa or North America.
