The FN Belgian-made Browning Nomad pistol was introduced in 1961 and remained in production until 1974. The Nomad semi-automatic .22 LR pistol features a gloss blue factory finish, a 4.5" or 6.75" inch barrel, a steel or alloy frame, adjustable target sights, checkered black plastic grips, and a 10-shot detachable magazine. The Nomad was a successful design, and proved to be a great little rimfire pistol capable of excellent accuracy and very good reliability. This particular example is a 2nd year of production gun made in 1962 that features a lightweight alloy frame and a 4.5" inch barrel. It is in very good condition inside and out, and has obviously been well-cared for over the years. The original factory blue finish and frame anodizing still looks great, showing only some minor handling marks and very little actual wear. The bore in this Nomad is in pristine condition, with sharp lands and grooves in the rifling and no visible imperfections whatsoever. The original checkered black plastic grips are in excellent condition overall, free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or major ding/dents. The checkering is still clean on both sides and the Browning logos are crisp. The action on this Nomad is slick and smooth, and all of the controls are in perfect working order including the adjustable rear sight. It comes complete with one original factory 10-rd magazine in excellent condition. If you have been looking for a neat vintage .22 pistol for your collection this FN Belgian Nomad would be a great choice.
