Colt Woodsman Target semi-auto pistol in .22 Long Rifle. 1st series, made in 1941. Adjustable front and rear sights. Right handed thumb safety. Beautiful blued frame and slide. Checkered wood grips. 6 5/8" barrel. Fitted, likely custom carrying case marked England Lever. Original bottom latching magazine.
This beautiful collector's piece shows extremely well in its case. Overall excellent condition. Bluing shows only very light marks with slight blue wear on the sides of muzzle, moderate bluing wear on the backstrap and light marks on the front strap. Checkering on grips is good for its age with light wear to the points in the likely areas. Excellent bright bore with strong rifling. Grips are tight with some light greening around the screw holes.
