This Courier was produced in the last year of the Couriers, 1956. The pistol's serial number is 45786 LW. It has the 3 Inch barrel. There were only 3,053 of these Couriers produced. These guns were produced in 1953 To 1956. This pistol is in new condition and is in near unfired condition. This pistol has the lightweight frame with steel barrel and cylinder. The wood checkered grips are in very fine condition with sharp checkering. The bluing would rate a strong 98% overall condition. The action is tight with no issues. There is a very slight drag line between the cylinder stops from swinging out the cylinder and locking it back in battery. This is a fairly rare model Colt!
