#47685, Winchester 300 H&H Super Grade Pre-64 Model 70 Barreled Action Custom Bolt Rifle, The barreled action made by Winchester in 1942 in 300 H&H, 26" factory barrel with their integral front ramp with a sight protector, Pre-War Model 70 wing safety, Standard Model 70 Super Grade floorplate and trigger guard, Folding leaf rear sight, Clover leaf shaped rear tang, It is set-up with the vintage Leupold Adjusto-Mount base and rings that adjust for the mounted Bausch & Lomb Balvar 8A 2.5 x 8 scope that is without external adjustments, A nice custom stock with a very nice piece of American Black Walnut, Very nice point pattern checkering, Shadowline cheekpiece, Rosewood forend tip, Biesen one screw steel grip cap, Sling eyes on the stock, 13 9/16" LOP over a 5/8" pad, It will go 13 7/8" with a 1" pad installed, 9 lbs. 7 oz., The bore is excellent plus and remains as new, The metal reblued and remains at 99%, The stock is at 98%, The checkering is at 100%, I can assure you this was not the stockers first attempt at custom stocking a bolt rifle. It has nice workmanship along with the checkering being very well cut and very professionally laid out. This piece has excellent internal inletting that is very well cut. It is glass bedded in the barrel channel and the recoil lug.
