German Model 1871 11mm caliber rifle. Made at the Amberg Arsenal in 1880. Wood and metal have been cleaned. Bore has strong rifling. Serial numbers are matching. Butt plate is unit marked “B.4.R.3” (Bayerisches Reserve Infantry). Excellent overall condition. Rifle has an appealing look.
