Description:
Serial #GW20740, .45 Colt, 7 1/2" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some mild freckling along the grooves. This 1961 made revolver retains 97-98% original blue (the blue on the frame has begun to turn an indigo-purple color). The cylinder has a very light turn-ring, and there is a small flaked area of on frame below the loading gate. The original Franzite stag grips are currently installed, and numbered, wooden replacement grips are also included. The two-piece box is excellent with light wear on the corners, tight seams and contains the warranty card and instruction sheet. This is a fine-excellent example of one of the early Colt SAA copies.
