#4763 Winchester 1873 OBFMCB, 44WCF with VG++ to Fine bore (about a 8+ on a scale of 10), having only some very some minor wear and some darkened dust/dirt in the grooves, but looking like it will spin a bullet VERY well after getting a good thorough scubbing with some bore solvent, and while being somewhat dry, the action is tight and smooth with a good operating action. Serial numbered in the 121XXX range (1883). The exterior of this rifle has a VERY smooth deep chocolate brown mixing with a plum-brownish patina with no roughness or pitting anywhere. The metal overall is very crisp-edged and devoid of any serious damage or blemishes. The buttstock and forearm are both very much above average having no serious chips or slivers; just some light bumps and bruises. It has a generic semi-buckhorn rear sight on the medium weight octagon barrel, Winchester “pinched blade” front, standard trigger, and original dust cover. Nothing rare or wonderful here, but this is just a VERY decent original 137 year old Winnie in considerably better-than-average condition. About VG++ as described. $2495
