Description:
This is an original example of a very desirable Baby Nambu pistol, chambered in 7mm Nambu bottleneck cartridge, in very nice condition. It is all matching, including the grips and the internal parts. The gun is in super shape but has some spotting/freckling as shown, with very a few minute tiny spots of pitting here and there - a spot right above the sear retainer on the left side, a couple of spots on the right side near the ejection port and a few tiny spots on the heel and on the rear grip strap. The rest are just spots of discoloration/freckling, that cannot be felt when running your finger over them. The strawed parts  - sear retainer and the firing pin guide knob  - are still bright. Trigger shows some oxidation. Mint bore and grips. Matching mag in very good condition with just minor wear from being inserted into a gun. The gun is marked with a Tokyo arsenal symbol on the chamber. All in all, an honest gun , that never been messed with with some signs of wear and priced at less than half of the mint examples. A total of 6500 of these were made during 1910-1925 time frame for private purchase by the high ranked Japanese officers. Probably, the most desirable Japanese handgun, and certainly most diminutive one.
