barrel and cylinder blue ,frame loading gate and hammer case hardened ,smooth walnut grips
excellent conditions with faintest imperceptible trace of dragline on cylinder also light scratch on right side of rib under barrel ,wear on case hardened on frame where index finger made contacted to removed cylinder remove screw that old rod in place and rod will come out open gate and remove cylinder .An extremely high quality copy of the Remington 1875 revolver
the owner of Hartford Armory gave me this gun before he past don't know how much he shot it he probably used it in cowboy shoot .Personnaly I shot less than half box
