Description:
.40 caliber, 28" octagon twist steel barrel with ebony ramrod located underneath. Engraved bar action lock with half cock safety position. Checkered walnut stock ending with a blued steel buttplate. Blued steel triggerguard with grip extension lower tang. Three leaf folding rear barrel sight. Proffessionally restored in England and retaining all of the beautiful brown and twist pattern on the barrel. The lock showing fading case colors that are most likely the original. Excellent stock and checkering. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. LOP: 14 1/4" Length overall: 44" Weight: 4lbs 7oz. In it's oak box with accessories and label in the lid. The maker's name is also engraved on the lock and barrel.
