Description: General Specs: Winchester, Year 1955, .410/20 Gauge, Weight .410= 7lb2oz 20=6lbs 12oz, Chokes .410=IC/M 20=M/F, LOP 14", DAH 2 1/2", DAC 1 5/8" Serial Number: 30920 What a great combination set with matching .410 barrels and forearm from Winchester. This is a factory documented Custom Built 20 GAUGE MAGNUM IN NEAR NEW CONDITION! This gun, sn30920 built in 1955 in Winchester's Custom Shop, letters as a Magnum Field Grade, Custom Built, 3" chambers, 28" barrels choked M/F, shipped with a pad and factory oil finish, and is in factory new condition. It also features a non-auto safety, "flat side" receiver, and a set of .410 barrels that are Custom Built by Winchester with factory markings and serial numbered to the gun. A CUSTOM FIELD MAGNUM 20 GAUGE IS A RARE MODEL 21! The wood is fabulously figured, and the balance is the same with either set of barrels. They only made 123 magnum 3" 20-gauge guns and only a few were Custom Built. Most are aware that "Custom Built" meant that Winchester lavished far more attention to detail on the finishing of these guns, including finely polished internal parts, jeweled barrel flats, breech face, water table, and standing breech. The Custom-Built Winchester Model 21 is a very solid investment vehicle and when you find a Magnum 20 with a second set of .410 barrels and matching forearm you have a fun shooting set as well. The .410 barrels with 3" chambers are all Winchester, with lightening cuts in barrel flats, 26" choked IC/M, internal bore diameter .418/.418, and match the 20ga. barrels perfectly, with the top rib engraved "Custom Built by Winchester". What a great all-around field gun on a 6 3/4lb. platform. Balanced delightfully between the hands and built to the highest standards inside and out, it is a gun that will bring you great pleasure as you shoot targets and birds. There is no doubt the value will continue to climb, as it has it all: rarity, condition, documentation, and desirability. A great gun to shoot, own, and use as an investment vehicle. You will not likely ever see a set like this for sale, so don’t hesitate to call. Thanks for looking!
