Description:
The words "exhibition wood" get thrown around quite a bit and I try to stay away from using them, but in this case I believe it is safe to say this gun has exhibition wood. This is a little RBL manufactured by Connecticut Shotgun in the wonderful 28 gauge and it is one lovely little gun. This gun comes with a straight english grip, splinter forend, double triggers, true charcoal and bone case coloring, and 28 inch barrels. This gun is as new and if fired at all certainly hasn't been fired many times. Stock dimensions are 1 1/2 X 2 3/8 X 14 3/4 over the original butt plate and cast is neutral. Also, please notice the grain flow through the wrist area on this gun, it has perfect layout, and this is so important on these small light weight guns. Weight of the gun is 5 pounds 8 ounces making it a joy to carry through the woods and with the 28 inch barrels it will swing and balance perfectly. Bores measure .550 in both barrels and choke constrictions are .011 in the right barrel and .021 in the left. The gun comes with everything that it left the factory with as seen in the picture. Condition of the gun is excellent plus and you will only find one or two of the smallest impressions on the stock. Safety is automatic, trigger pulls are nice and crisp and this gun just feels right in your hands. This gun has the exhibition grade wood and the long trigger guard, both expensive upgrades. Price of this gun is $4900 plus $50 shipping to your FFL. As always there is a three day non-firing inspection period with the buyer paying shipping charges if returned.
