Pre-War Colt Officer's Model Target (Third Issue) chambered in 38 Special. This Colt revolver was manufactured in 1927 (first year of the third Issue). It features blue finish, 6" barrel, adjustable front and rear sights, and hard rubber grips. The revolver retains approximately 95% of its original blue finish with scattered handling marks and high edge wear. The Gutta Percha grips are unnumbered, fit well, but the right panel has a repaired crack running horizontally near the escutcheon. The bore is bright and shiny. The action is in time and locks up tight. A nice example of a Pre-War Colt Officer's Model that can still be taken out to the range without feeling guilty about it.
