This IBM M-1 Carcine .30 Cal, Serial No. 3901507 was mfg ab 4/44 by IBM and has all of the correct parts for that period. The barrel is imprinted w/the "IBM logo".
The metal parts show a very light amount of overal but even wear. The stock is a high wood & has the correct "BR-B Imprinted in the sling well & there is a Cross Cannon on the r -side of the stock behind the grip. It has some very light handling marks on the rear by the sling well, & the bottom of the forearm - overal very good. The action is normal. The bore is clean & shinney w/a nice twist - it measures "2".
The following parts are a part of this very nice IBM Carbine - Receiver is a Block 1/w Narrow Tang, internal spring tube channel, square mill cut, Recoil Plate -T3 w/"PR-B", Rear Sight T 3 marked w/H shield (Milled), Barrel T-1 w/ the Imprinted "IBM" logo & no barrel date -there is a "P" imprint abt 6 inches from the muzzle, Front Sight - Fabricated w/the letter "N", Bolt - T 3 rounded w/the marked "EM-B" & a "BEB firing pin & IB extractor, Trigger Hsg - T4 "BT" Marked, Trigger T-2 w/"TB", , Sear T-1 w?"SWB", Hammer T-3 w/"AMB", Safety T3 w/EP-8,Mag Catct T-3 w/"PR-B, Oper Slide T-3 w/"AOB/c", Stock w/Cartouche -"BRB" in sling well, Cross Cannons - On R-side behind the grip, Barrel Band -T1 w/two weld spots(Unmarked), Hardguard - T2 w/2 holes and "BR-B" on the ubderside. The Sling, Oiler & Magazine are not included but may be purchsed seperately, if available (Limited Supply). This IBM Carbine is to me a collector's grade and overal an "NRA" Very Good.
