Description:
Harrington & Richardson Young America revolver, double action, 22 caliber, second model late 1920s to mid 1930s in the original end label box. Cylinder locks up tight and action works fine. has a 2 inch barrel. Top strap marked " Young American and Double Action ". Side of barrel marked 22 Rim Fire. Top of barrel H&R Arms Company Worsester, Mass USA. Barrel has original unaltered 1/2 moon front sight, bore has good strong rifiling.
Note these were made 1898 to 1942 and originally made for Black Powder use only at the beginning to what year is ?. Nickle plated with blued trigger guard and trigger. Grips are black Gutta Percha i think and numbered to the gun and EX+ condition. SN. 295XXX, original cylinder pin with EX knurling as pictured and moves in & out freely.
The original box is solid and still retains most all original color with original Young American end label, see picture, also includes original revolver wrapping oil paper and a components part list flyer which is blurry and may ba a old copy?
Sold as a Antique Collectors revolver only and should be examined by a licensed gun smith before ever being fired.
Please note that no Black Powder 22 caliber ammo has been made since the 1920s.
