"RARE" Antique PERCUSSION "COLT BREVETTE" NAVY REVOLVER by F. DUMOULIN & CO. (Belgium). Excellent condition - engraved & nickel plated - well marked with the manufacturer mark a top the barrel - and Proof marks on both sides of the barrel. 5 15/16 inch barrel with a very good bore. . The serial number #46723 matches on frame, barrel and bottom strap - with assembly number 25 on various parts including the wedge. Top of barrel flat reads"CAP SYSTEM MADE BY F. DUMOULIN &CO." Left side of frame reads, "F.D.C. CAL 35 PATENT SYSTEM". Bone handle scales show a great patina finish. They have shrunk a tad over the last 150 years - and show a small repair (right grip / bottom left corner). The 5 shot cylinder is engraved with the Harbor & Bridge Scene, Boats & Sails, showing a Steam locomotive with train cars on the bridges - and various Boats and Ships in the water. - Action is tight and indexes as it should.
