Description:
Colt 1st Gen 38 WCF (38-40) shipped in 1901 to Kanas City Missouri. Nice all original shooter grade Colt with 4 3/4" barrel. Colt Archive Letter. The bore would rate 5-6 with strong lands and shallow pitting in the grooves. It has a W or VV scratched on the butt and an arrow scractched in the left grip. A little play in the cylinder with very little end shake.
