Extremely rare Parker Grade 3 16 bore hammer gun. Gun made with 28" damascus barrels, double triggers, splinter forend, and capped pistol grip. This gun has the extremely rare and desireable "lightning cuts" in the frame- designed to lighten the weight. Made on a "0" Frame. Gun has a capped pistol grip buttstock with fine original skeleton buttplate.
Original small bore American made hammer guns are near impossible to source and this one remains in fine condition. The action has about 20% original color. Barrels retain nearly all of a beautifull restored damascus pattern with hand cut rib legend. The stocks are sound, excellent and original and retain about 90% of their finish with some finish added for preservation. The mechanics on this gun are crisp and the bores are bright and shiny. There is a glare in the forend photo - it is NOT cracked or repaired in any way.
