Payment Types Accepted: money order Description: Here is a Colt conversion from 150 years ago that operates like it was made yesterday. The barrel was shortened back in the period of use as many were. Bore is probably an 8 on 1-10 scale. Metal surfaces are smooth, no rust or pitting. Visible numbers match and the barrel lettering, though faint, is readable. Lockup is good. I have shot this gun and everything works. .44 Russian cases work fine but you will need soft hollow base bullets for accuracy. Black powder only of course and you should have the gun checked by a competent gunsmith before shooting it. The action feels like a modern gun that had its action smoothed for CAS. I'm no expert but I think the grips are genuine ivory. $50 shipping and insurance to your door. No ffl or C&R required.
