Description:
Hunter Arms Co. Inc was formed in 1915 to manufacture L.C. Smith shotguns. The "Hunter Special" model was manufactured between 1937 and 1945. This extractor gun has been nicely redone. Wood shows light use marks with a very small 1/4" crack at wrist below tang. Remainder is solid with tight lockup and remains on-face. Blue has been redone and shows some light pitting in places and wear on both sides of barrels mid forend. Barrel is stamped "Belgian". Case color is very nice and bores are excellent! All serial numbers match and barrels ring true.
