Description:
This one is a very interesting rifle. Puchased new in 1984, it has features blending the move from the SP1 to the AR15-A2. The flatside lower rec'r is serial numbered 30xxxx. It is stamped AR-15 A2 (.223) and has an A2 pistol grip and buttstock. The upper is also a flatside, w/o forward assist. The barrel is marked C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7 with the birdcage flash hider and A2 fore end. Of course- this is a pre ban gun, and this is how it came out of the factory. It also carries a Colt by Colt 4x32 optic with the simple duplex reticle. According to the owner, he put exactly 40 rounds thru the gun 30 years ago- then put it away. It comes with a sling as shown, 2 Colt 20 round mags and the original warranty paperwork given to the buyer from the gunshop he purchased it at.
