1939 PRE-WAR SMITH & WESSON .44 3RD MODEL H.E. (HAND EJECTOR) "MODEL 0F 1926" .44 SPECIAL 4" BLUE REVOLVER. Known as the "Wolf and Klar" model(named for dealer in TX who ordered the bulk of them). 5 screw frame with custom blue finish professionally done with all remaining. Screws excellent. Excellent bore and chambers. Interesting to note the special low profile hammer must be factory of some sort as it has "Reg.U.S.Pat.Off." (obviously for double action use as it does not obscure square notch when hammer is down and is nicely checkered). Pachmayr Presentation grip. Serial numbers all match on revolver(cylinder, butt. Barrel). Perfect working order. Smith & Wesson records may turn up something interesting.
