Description:
The "Hammer Forged" model was manufactured by the Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works from 1936 until 1943. This gun remains in overall excellent condition. Wood is solid, lock up tight and remains on face. There are a few light use marks and some crazing from age in the finish on the buttstock. Checkering is sharp and there are no visible cracks on butt or forend. Buttplate is solid and has the Iver Johnson owl logo with "Iver Johnson" pistol grip cap on stock. Bluing appears original showing some wear and oxidation in high contact spots. Barrels ring true and bore is excellent. Extractor model. Nice example!
