They were known for their quality, craftsmanship and fine tooling decoration. This rig shows all these features and the Lawrence marking from the early 1940's. The holster is made to accommodate a Colt SAA with a 7 ½" barrel and is so marked. The belt is 2 ½" wide x 43" long with 30 cartridge loops to fit 44/45 caliber bullets. Both the holster & belt show the Lawrence makers mark with matching tooling and a matching deep brown color. The rig is in overall excellent condition, showing light use, but no damage or losses and no oiling. All the stitching is original and solid. The back of the holster skirt shows some carved in initials, unseen from the front. A great looking rig to show off a high-grade Colt SAA. Colt SAA and .45 caliber bullets in photos not included.
