Whitney Mississippi rifle in over all good plus Cond. Barrel is smooth with age stain and good proof marks at breech. Rifled 54 Cal. bore is very good. Ramrod is an orignal civil war model. Lockplate has good markings. Stock is sound and solid with two light cartouches. Hammer holds half cock and full cock with strong main spring.
